Who is Herdwize designed for?
Herdwize serves mid-to-large livestock operations — dairy farms, beef operations, breeding programs, and ranches with 200+ head. The platform is designed for commercial producers who need scalable, data-driven herd management.
How is Herdwize different from other livestock monitoring systems?
Herdwize is a vertically integrated platform. We design and manufacture our own hardware, deploy private LoRaWAN networks (no cellular dependency), and run our own AI models. This integration enables lower per-animal costs, offline resilience, and faster feature development.
What does the deployment process look like?
We start with a site assessment to design the network layout, then install gateways, tag animals, and configure the dashboard. Most deployments are operational within 2-3 days. Our team provides on-site support for initial setup.
Is there a pilot program?
Yes. We offer pilot deployments of 50-100 head for 90 days. This allows you to evaluate the platform with your animals, in your conditions, before committing to a full deployment.
